Terms of use
For the free beta of Get It? · Last updated 17 October 2026
The short version. Get It? is a free teaching aid in beta. Use it to check whether pupils understood a lesson. It is not an assessment, and the AI can be wrong. Use your professional judgement. Do not rely on it for formal grades or decisions about a pupil.
1. Who we are
Get It? is operated by RapidWeb ("we", "us", "our"). You can contact us at support@dotheygetit.app. These terms apply to the website at dotheygetit.app and the app at app.dotheygetit.app (together, "the service").
2. The beta
The service is currently free while in beta. We may change, suspend or withdraw it at any time. We may add or remove features, and we may introduce paid plans in future. We will give reasonable notice of any charge that affects you. Free access is not a guarantee of continued availability.
3. Who may use it
You must be 18 or over and using the service in a professional teaching capacity, or otherwise authorised by a school or college. By using the service you confirm that you have the authority to do so on behalf of your setting where relevant.
4. Your responsibilities
- Only enter the pupil information you actually need. A first name or first name and initial is usually enough.
- Make sure your school's policies allow pupil answers to be sent to an external AI service. Your school's policy comes first.
- Do not enter special category data (for example health, ethnicity, religion or SEN details) or any other sensitive personal data about a pupil.
- Do not use the service to make formal assessments, grades, exclusions or other significant decisions about a pupil. The colour is guidance to support your judgement, not a decision.
- Keep your login details secure and do not share your account.
- Do not misuse the service: no unlawful, harmful, abusive or infringing content, no attempts to break security, no automated scraping, and no using it to build a competing product.
5. Pupil data and privacy
You are responsible for the pupil data you put into the service and for having a lawful basis to use it. Our privacy notice explains what the service collects, how it is stored, and how it is sent to an AI provider for marking. Please read it before using the service with pupils.
6. AI output can be wrong
The service uses third-party AI models to read answers and suggest a colour. AI output can be inaccurate, inconsistent or incomplete in both directions. It is not a substitute for your professional judgement, and you should review anything you rely on. We do not warrant that the AI's reading is correct.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, hosting failures or third-party outages. Data may be lost if the hosting service is restarted or redeployed without persistent storage; export anything you need to keep.
8. Intellectual property
We own the service, its design and its software. You keep ownership of the content you create - your questions, class lists and results - and you give us the limited permission needed to store and process it to run the service. You must not copy, resell or redistribute the service itself without our permission.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot legally be limited. Subject to that, the service is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of profits, or any loss arising from reliance on an AI reading or on the service being unavailable. Our total liability to you is limited to £100.
10. Ending use
You may stop using the service at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to pupils, us or anyone else.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the beta develops. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on the site. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
